As a part of the merger process, a new statewide Board of
Directors was appointed to lead this dynamic venture. The new
Community Food Banks of South Dakota board is made up of members
from the two prior organizations, The Food Service Center, Inc.,
and Black Hills Regional Food Bank, Inc., six members each from
Rapid City and Sioux Falls. Through their hard work and
dedication, this board has done a fantastic job in managing the
challenges of creating a new organization.
